No. The file is read and checked in your browser. Nothing is sent to us, so you can check files with real prices and stock.

It is built for Shopify's product CSV columns, like Handle, Title, Variant Price and Image Src. A WooCommerce or other file needs mapping to those columns first.

An error will break the import or damage data, like a missing price or two identical variants. A warning will import but cause problems later, like a duplicate SKU, a missing description or a barcode Google Shopping will reject.

It fixes the safe things: stray spaces, prices with ₹ or commas, yes or no values, and whole-number stock, and can make handles web-safe if you choose. You download a cleaned copy and your original is untouched. Missing or wrong data, like a bad barcode, needs the real values.

A spreadsheet treated them as numbers and rounded them. The real digits are lost in that file. Re-export from your source, and format the column as Text before you paste barcodes or SKUs in.

No. It catches the common problems, but Shopify has the final say and its rules change. Import a small batch of 5 to 10 products first, and check the result before the full file.
