LTV and CAC calculator

Work out what a customer is worth to you over time, what winning one costs, and whether the two add up.

What it costs to win a customer is your ad and marketing spend for a period, divided by the new customers it brought in. Use your own figures, not an average from the internet.

How we can help

Raise LTV or lower CAC. Most stores only try the second

Ad costs rarely fall on their own. LTV is the lever many stores skip: repeat orders from the customers you already paid to win.

Questions

The total profit a customer brings you over the time they keep buying. This calculator uses profit, not sales, because sales ignore the cost of the products.

Customer acquisition cost: what you spend on ads and marketing to win one new customer. Divide your spend for a period by the new customers it brought in.

Many businesses aim for 3 to 1 or better, but it is a rule of thumb. It depends on your margin, how long customers stay and how quickly you recover the cost, which is why payback time is shown too.

A customer who spends ₹10,000 on products that cost you ₹8,000 is worth ₹2,000, not ₹10,000. Using sales makes every customer look more valuable than they are.

Bring customers back sooner and more often: email and WhatsApp follow-ups, bundles, subscriptions where they fit, and a good first delivery. Even a small rise in repeat orders shifts the whole ratio.

Not sure customers come back?

Tell us your store and what you sell. We look at repeat orders and the tracking behind them, before there is any quote.
