Five things. Format and minify with your choice of indent. Explore the data as a collapsible tree with search, and click any key to copy its path. Query it with JSONPath, like $.products[?(@.price > 1000)].sku. Compare two versions and see what was added, removed or changed. Convert JSON to CSV, CSV to JSON, TypeScript types or YAML.
Key order is ignored, and when every item in a list has an id, sku, handle or similar, items are matched by that value. So a re-ordered product list is not reported as changed, only the products that really differ.
Paste it into the left box. If it is valid, the formatted version appears on the right with the indent you choose. You can sort the keys, copy the result or download it.
The tool shows the line and column of the problem, the part of the line around it and a plain-language reason, such as a trailing comma or single quotes.
It removes comments and trailing commas, changes single quotes to double quotes, quotes unquoted keys and changes Python-style True, False and None to true, false and null. Check the result, because a repair is a best guess.
Format adds line breaks and indents so a person can read it. Minify removes all extra spaces so the file is as small as possible, which is better for sending or storing.
Yes. The JSON is checked and formatted in your browser. It is never sent to us or any server.
You can check that a JSON-LD block is valid JSON here. To test whether Google can use it, run it through Google's Rich Results Test as well.
